sweet summer time

we went strawberry picking 

and the berries were delicious

some of the better ones I have had in the last few years 

checking it out 

 he found a berry

in our baskets ;-)

would take a bit and throw it back in the basket or hand it to someone

then would take another and repeat :) 

the picking crew

today 

berries and yogurt for breakfast

berries for lunch 

then playing while mama makes some jam

then needed to help

oven mitt like the mama

testing out the jam

he approved

took a bit longer with a helper

but two batches of jam

 and one pie later

and we are done with strawberries for another year

though I may have to pick again because they were just that good!
