Kimmy is getting married!

and we are soooo excited to celebrate May 1!!!

So this weekend we had her bachelorette party!

so good to spending time with each and celebrate!

and the rest of the night just as fun!

first night away from Arie was a success :)

and party was a success.

so a good time overall!

serious business

turning three months old is serious business if you look at Aries expressions

it is also surprising [to Arie and the mama]

and just silly

and just plain crazy!

each month I think..how can he be???

I mean three months...really! :) 

This month has been filled with more discovery and more routine

1.  Arie continues to enjoy tummy time and even surprises himself when he rolls over

2.  he likes to coo and talk and even giggle, sometimes he gets sooo excited he gets the hiccups

if you leave him on his activity mat he will have wonderful conversations even with himself

3.  maybe I am bias but I really believe he knows who his mama and papa are

4.  he likes to play on his activity mat, read books, play with rattles [and sofie] and listen to my lovely singing ;-) 

5.  he still is wearing 3 month clothing, but I am thinking not to much longer

6.  he weighs about 13.5 lbs [according to our scale]

7. he [knock on wood] has been sleeping pretty good at night!  and 2-3 good naps a day, very thankful!

8.  went to his first 'day care' at kids stuff at the MVP!  we go at nap time so usually sleeps the whole time :) 

9.  he enjoys being held up like he is standing...almost get a 'i am a proud big boy face'  always make me smile

and that is a wrap on the newest Arie news!

Easter Celebration

Since we were gone over Easter...we decided to celebrate a week late

there was family, an egg hunt, food and fun

hunting for the eggs.

we had a great time on saturday afternoon with no agenda, just hanging out and playing

was actually sang this on Easter Morning at the Kurk of the Keys church we went too

[interesting experience all around, but arie got a treat bag with candy haha and did an egg hunt]

We did also see the Sun each day in Florida and had a wonderful vacation

I was very nervous how things would go [he did great on the plane...cried the last one once we landed...so not bad]

but he did great!  We all had a relaxing time 

played, napped, swam, walked and just bummed around

so thankful for this time with J and with my parents

lets do it again!

When we arrived in Florida my parents informed J and I we had one night for a date night

that was soooo kind of them! We had a great time at on outdoor restaurant! 

New hotel and more beach time

this hotel had a nice hut outside that Arie could stay under, so the papa joined more outdoor time

then it would be time for them to head to GR and for the Paters to head to Miami to fly out the next day

We got to our last hotel and i spent some time at the pool

and then J decided to visit the Coral Castle

aka a middle of no where site

that the tour guide thought was amazing

and well.......i have never heard of the coral castle, so enough said...hahah

and Arie's last night out to eat with no pants

that would because he decided to have a blowout and mama didnt have a change of clothes

all well...it is vacation and warm

and the last ride plane ride home...slept this way from Atlanta to GR!

so so thankful for the memories that were made!

will cherish for a LONG time!
