did NOT hold up to its name

BUT still had a great time away in the Sunshine state

First day was filled with lots of relaxing

and my parents stopped by for the day!  So glad they did, fun to see them.

also visited a landmark from the college days: The fountain in Celebration

Second day EPCOT! and a little sunshine

Disney adventure traveling around the world!

Spent almost 12 hours in the park including the grand finale of fireworks

a little Italy

A little French...french pastries

Third day filled with some rain, so we shopped.

Perfect.  Hello outlet mall

and out to dinner for one more night

Then it was back to a snow storm!

weekly update

BECAUSE the plants were actually dropped off to me last Friday when my parents were still in town

only adding time and pressure to the duration of keeping my eye on them

but that leaves me now with THE one week in update

Here is the results photo one week in...

Plant one: Still has FLOWERS!!! VICTORY!!! fist pumps to the air

Plant two: looks the same [dead...mother says it is on its come back]

Plant three: well I kinda notice that the leaf on the far right has some yellowing...should I throw my hands up in the air...not yet.  The rest of the plant [to me] looks the same and that plant STILL has two of the three buds!  That in and of it self is a victory!

Plant four:  well I also notice that there may be a little yellowing in the leaf in the back [ha i turned it so it looked better in the picture] other than that I personally feel it looks the same

So what to do about this yellowing?!?!  I mean if each week there is little by little...THEN..see where I am going with this train of thought...

I may have to consult with the plant guru herself

But after today I leave them in my Aunts care for the first part of the week, when we actually head to the sunshine state....hoping that TITLE holds true!

Toughest task yet

So today my parents leave for the sunshine state for over 5 weeks!

I was left with a few easy tasks like open their mail, pay a few bills, put out the recycling 

all stuff I can manage and happy to do

BUT there is just one task that i was left with that I ask or whine WHY ME! 

TASK/challenge: water my moms prized plants, four of them

bc they need watering every 2-3 days or until the leaves look droopy she delivered them to my work in effort to help keep them alive.

But after day one of water I already goofed.  As I went to water the plant on the far left I broke off one of the stick/bud thing, seriously   already I throw my hands up in the air.  mess up number one!  

Don't worry it only takes about 6 months for that bud to produce, quotes my mother

man alive.

Let the documentation / mission begin!
