decorations may be

a little different this year

a few didn't make it out for mr. i like to get into everything

like glass ornaments 

or certain snowman 

but there are still plenty of things to make it look like Christmas is coming

the tree is up!

 The stockings are hung

and we even visited the hundreds of poinsettias at Js Uncles

Merry Christmas

we went on a hunt

for the perfect tree

and we found one ... that was a least near perfect :)

We had a lovely thanksgiving this year

First up my parents house

Getting ready to grandma and grandpas

and all ready for his first thanksgiving meal

he liked it all

turkey, stuffing, squash, bread...and lots of fruit!

then it was off to celebrate at grandma coras house

then off to see the Christmas Story at Civic

we had a busy but very fun day

Autie Rachel visited from wed-sat, so we got to spend time with her!

she gave Arie his first Christmas Present!

This thanksgiving I have so much to be thankful for

Celebrating with Arie for the first time brings me so much joy

I am beyond thankful for him.  He steals, melts my heart daily

for J and my family

for health of my family and friends

and for the many blessing from the Lord [and the things I take for granted]

I was getting a few things ready in the kitchen

Mr. was pretty quiet in the back hall which usually means

holding into the gate, playing with his bedroom door, or looking at his books

or playing in the laundry room

BUT not this time

he found a new place

Jason accused me of being a bad house wife 

[all in joking tone]

bc I didnt have anything in mind to eat...Monday night

he had the stand by pizza rolls and I had my stand by peanut butter and honey [hello 5th grade]

so not to be a bad house wife two nights in a row

I broke out a new recipe from the blog How sweet it is

and well...Jason thought maybe he should complain every night

cause it was good 

Arie also approved

so it looks like this was a crowd pleaser and easy

chalk that up as a win

and a make again

so pretty

at least from the inside!

1. 21 lbs.  and wearing 9 and 12 month clothes

2. loves to be curious.  loves to crawl around, open doors and climb the stairs.

3.  he is up to walking 12 steps in a row! ekkk! haha

4.  he likes to wave, giggle, and clap..and shake his head is his version of dancing

each day can be so much fun with this little love

[of course we have our moments, but majority are good!]

so thankful for him!
