So that is what we did. We went and played on the swing set (douger is adding and refreshing it from my childhood hehe! Looks great!) 

We had a great time on the swings and with the new spy glass. Ben LOVES to play and play some more! 

Then it was time to go. See you later alligator! Love you auntie. With a sloppy Mac and cheese kiss. Sealed the deal. Melt! Until next time :) :)

This trip to the library brought about an interesting combo

First book I saw a person I follow on Instagram recommend and I saw it in Costco. Sold. 

I didn't even really read anything about it before I checked it out

So Book one: The Light Between Ocean

A little sad... A family struggling and wanting a child. Hears a baby crying and take her in. Stopping there...If I tell you the whole premise I think I would give it away.  it was good just not something I would usually pick up to read or not sure I would say it is a must read. 

Book two: Mobbed

This is Mary Higgins Clark's daughter. Figured would probably be good because of that... But not so much. Ok mystery about an actress that goes missing and trying to find her through out the book. Good but I wouldn't say run out and read. 

Neither was a bust but nothing to rave about...

But unfortunately there is going to have to be a phase four. 

I finished painting and distressing the dresser BUT now I decided it needs new knobs :) 

So let the etsy and internet search begin. 

Then it will be done done!

Off to Lunch at my parents

which was wonderful! and included an egg hunt

Then is was home for about an hour

then off to Js family

more yummy food and good time

and that is how we celebrated Easter this time around

Happy Birthday Betsy!

we celebrated a few weeks ago at The Greenwell

and then the family celebration [now that the parentals are home] at my parents

Phase two

Of my weekend project. Caused a little bit of running around. 

What was needed: grout (trying to create paint I saw on Pinterest) paint and paint brush. 

What was found at js work. Grout. What was left at js work grout.

What was found at Walmart. Paint and paint brush. What was not found at Walmart grout. 

Equals back to js work for grout. 

Best part of all the running around. Grout was never used. Wrong color and didn't like the texture. 

But painting was able to be done. Actually started. Not completely satisfied with the look, so round two this week. 

Here is the progress. 

Bring on more paint and maybe a little sanding again. Hopefully final results soon :)

I bought it from my grandmas barn. I want to paint it white...shabby chic

Today I got it all sanded and taken apart. 

Hopefully tomorrow I will begin and end painting it!

Welcome back key lime style

Work buddy douger to the

Douger returned back to work for the first time in 6 weeks! 

Well we had to celebrate by baking him a key lime bar (in memory of the sunshine state he left hehe)
