pretty much could sum up Father's day [Part one]
This year we headed up north to spend time with my parents and with Js parents
We spent a lot of time on the bikes
lots of laughing and telling stories
relaxing and reading
going out to eat
sleeping in
and being able to celebrate our dads!
what a great influence they are in our lives. I am truly grateful!!
Started Saturday out with a trip to the farmers market

Midway break in our 2 hour bike...rain. Hiding out at the gas station
Out to dinner on mission point at the Jolly Pumpkin
There was a bit of a wait, so we drove out to the lighthouse
Sunday started out with another bike
this time it was Js adventure and what an adventure it was
up lots of hills and down narrow roads
best part of the trip...pulling back in the garage ;-)
Time for lunch
so thankful to have douger as my dad!
so happy to be able to celebrate with him
love our daily morning chats in my office
love his willingness to always help do the little things and still seek advice [still even being married]
love being able to joke around and be silly
just plain out love this guy!! :)
Also very thankful for my father in law
and for all his funny jokes he has! :)
what a great weekend we had...pure Michigan style!

Was celebrated at Ben's house
with dinner and CAKE [thanks madre!]
