lazy mornings

most weeks are go go in the morning

which is oh so fun!
but this week we have had way more time to be home and play

we stay in our PJs and play lots of toys

watching a little choo choo

'helping' with the laundry and making the bed

aka jumping on it

may take a bit longer with my assistant, but it is so much more fun :) 

and the rest of the weekend

only about a 20 year delay

but finally decided to get baptized

thankful to thankful to finally do it

and thankful for my church

so since we went to church on Saturday night

we...still went back to church sunday morning

all ready to greet

and hold the door open and get in the way HAHA!

and instead of church

we played outside

his new way of checking for the mail

Mr. Monkey boy

then the boys headed off to the cabin with papa, the trailer and the VROOOMMM

Arie was BEYOND thrilled

and the mama and nana headed to the outlet mall

win win for all

and that was how we finished off the weekend 

a little bit

of this and a little bit of that

the official day of celebrating

HAPPY 40th PAPA!

when you turn 40 you get 4 parties apparently ;-)

wishing papa a happy birthday first thing in the morning 

then the afternoon :)

out to cake 

then cake and gifts back at our house with oma and opa and GG

eclipse day

hooray!

even though there was clouds I was still able to see it happen

very neat to witness

here's what we did on Eclipse day

and viewed it with her AWESOME glasses

Arie would not put on the glasses so no viewing for him

will have to wait a couple more years to see his first eclipse ;-)

at Krispy Kremes!

they had eclipse donuts

(but they were not hot and free...so we bought the ones we actual like haha)

then to costco and home for the night

All of us together in Traverse City always makes for a great time

we had such a fun time 

and Arie LOVED being with his cousins 

Friday night Scooters and hanging out in the parking lot kind of night

and a little tennis before bed 

Good morning snuggles on the deck

breakfast

then annual family pictures 

Then playing on the beach for the rest of the day

celebrating papas birthday 

then fireworks

which arie HATED!!!!

and scootering around again

then it was time for us to head home :(

Sunday Funday

Jr and his family came over for a boat ride

we had such a fun afternoon

 the brave/crazy boys

then off to dinner

arie was soooo excited to have the puppy ride in his car

another fun filled packed out summer weekend!
