20ish hours

and six movies later

made a complete round trip road trip to DC to visit the family!

Fun extended weekend away

we spent most of the days relaxing and then going or doing something

First day it was off to Georgetown

had to check out Georgetown cupcake [we didn't partake, just looked]

walked down by the river

and at night went out with Aunt Carol, Uncle John and Nathan

They were visiting at the same time, it was fun to see them

Second day started out with Lunch at one of Josh and Jaime's favorite restaurants.  

Very cute and very good 

Then we played tourist and went off site seeing

Celebrating the 4th in the nations capital was very neat

At night we went back to the fireworks

it was so busy but so worth it!

The third day started out right

Have to teach them at a young age the love of the game ;-)

That night we headed to the Nationals Game

We had a really fun time and they won!

had to try the pretzel B recommended...success!

Dash loves the games!  They have presidents mascot races

he talked about Teddy a lot! he loved it

Ended the night with Miss Willa

She is still just a little peanut

We were up and at it and in the car by 7:45am

we made!  Good time away.
