and turning 15 months old ;-)

in April calls for a trip to the Meijer Gardens children's play area

I love days like this past Sunday

Church

deck and grilling

then a bike to the park 

then our first ice cream of the season

a little from the papa and the mama

then errands

and then we called it a night! 

friends and outside

two wonderful things!

I was able to see some very special friends for lunch on Saturdays!

so good to see them and spend time together

and get to see Miss Molly again!

glad she came to her first girls lunch :)

then it was back home and got to go outside with this little love

boy does he enjoy these warmer days!

and so do I!

and this is what I would call a good good Saturday!

all in a day

headed out to holland on a shopping say with grammy

home stores and toy stores

sounds about right!

then back home for dinner

and back in the car to see his cousins

and my oh my did he have fun!

cried when it was time to go

Arie and I took our first ABC moms outing 

felt like a field trip 

to the dairy farm

1. It SMELLED horrible..everywhere we went. ha

 2. Arie liked climbing on the feed near the cows, the hayride and the cheese snack at the end the best

3. may have been better if he wasnt in need of a nap...little crabby 

4.  we really like abc moms and were still glad we went!

went on Spring Break 2016 to Chicago

ok...drama.  

there were a lot of people but it didnt stop us!

we had a great time

Friday we went to Oakbrook and Ikea

found a little table for Arie, which I was looking for

and even swam in the hotel pool!

Saturday morning

woke up 'early' chicago time

so a little cartoons will do

then off to breakfast with friends

Then off to Shedds

Then the Planetarium 

which was so fun to play on the door while papa waited in another line

one of his favorite spots of the trip

[and most stairs at any of the places we went...nothing like traveling to chicago for a good flight of stairs ;-) haha]

Oh Happy morning buddy

extra happy bc I let him play in the water

The off to the Art Institute 

after a long couple of days 

he napped for all but a 1/2 hour on the ride home

thank you buddy for that!

we had so much fun!
we will be back Chicago!
