we like the

weekends

Because we get to try rice cereal again 

and actually eat it!

and take a break for thumb sucking

and walks with papa

that end in a nap

time to play with my stuffed animal friends

have brunch with my grandma and her friends and their grand babies
all the babies were born with four weeks of each other
and the baby on the right was born the same day as Arie!

and play with my new friends :)

and the best part is.  the weekend is not over!

he really likes holding blankets..fabric.  his own shirt :)

when it rains

it pours ;-)

could be worse BUT

it has been an interesting last couple of days

first the back went out 

then just as that was getting better

I got a terrible soar throat that required a med center stop

and Arie got a fever that spiked 104 that lead us to the doc office

which determined his first ear infection

both on the same day

so might as well pick up our prescriptions at the same time :)

lots of sleeping on the mama time

love this cuddle bug 

and he was extra cuddly and sleepy

playing with no clothes on to try to cool down

and a nice bath

praying that the meds start to work for both of us!

he has a go go gadjet neck when it comes to trying to watch TV

according to grandma.  sports do not count as TV

BUT for royalty we made an exception to the rule

J, Arie and I went to the FMG to see the the King and Queen of Netherlands

They were not there very long ;-) but still worth the trip
