and i thought it would be me

I mean could you even count the amount of photos I had of mr. prince william in my 8th grade locker? He was sooo dreamy and sooo cute! it was for sure meant to be, but the distance thing apparently got in the way and he found the lovely miss kate.

so in a true British accent I say: cheers to you kate and william.

such a beautiful wedding
such a beautiful dress
such a classy couple

Today is historic and I wish the happy couple all the best!

[every historic event needs to be documented even if it did involve: 5:30 wake up, no make up, and a bike...at least I have the bogo]

compliments are usually a good thing

except maybe when…
lady next to me in the lock room liked my shoes.

Is it bad that she is almost sixty?
OR
Is it even worse that this is the same lady that complimented Betsy on liking her underwear?

Hmmm

You can be the judge!

Stay dry or just look like a wet cat! April showers better be bringing May flowers

pick and stick

That was my nickname I had with Jeff when we were growing up [and probably still used today, never out grow that sibling rivalry cough cough words with friends] BUT I do like to believe that this lovely trait has now been passed down to the next generation, as I have captured it in this lovely photo. Please insert the words
Heyyyy
Mineeee
Not fair
[tears]
Mommmm
He isn’t being nice
She is taking it from me

I guess when candy and money are involved you get this way.
They can flip the switch and look as cute as can be!
Speaking of cute…here is mr ben on his first Easter.

and one of two dishes to pass, actually not the finished product but close enough. This was coconut whip cream...hmmm vanilla wafer dessert [thank you kraft again] not pictured: cobb salad. That is the wrap on the food and for the day!

[duh] yeah, luckily

well put margot from legally blonde [apparently I love this movie because quotes routinely pop up in my head!]

Let's just start out by saying. I am not a very lucky person. Seriously I think my luckiest thing ever was winning one hundred one dollar bills at the jog-a-thon in the third grade! woot woot for me. I was oh so proud of my hundred dollars...and I do believe the dork in me put it all in the bank! Thank you mom and dad for all the fun you allowed me to have!

Soooo yesterday it was a major surprise to receive a letter from David J. Buter:

See luckily I got selected to possibly be on jury duty [again] I say again because rewind three years as I already served as a happy citizen. I mean I was selected and sat as a juror with a bunch of old people, missed work, got hour or hour half lunch breaks, got paid, totally felt like I was on law and order...doesn't sound that bad. BUT I do not understand why this luck doesn't transfer over to like winning the lottery [if i bought tickets] or winning drawings for free clothes or gift cards. Nope I guess the lovely state of Michigan wants me to feel lucky in my own way aka selected to server not once but possibly twice!

On a serious note, I sit here and reflect on how lucky I am for a Savior that was willing to die on the cross for me. Take away my sins and continually show me grace and love daily. And for that I am VERY thankful!

When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of Glory died
My richest gain I count but loss
And pour contempt on all my pride

See from his head, his hands, his feet
Sorrow and love flow mingled down
Did ever such love and sorrow meet
Or thorns compose so rich a crown

O the wonderful cross, O the wonderful cross
Bids me come and die and find that I may truly live
O the wonderful cross, O the wonderful cross
All who gather here by grace draw near and bless
Your name

Were the whole realm of nature mine
That were an offering far too small
Love so amazing, so divine
Demands my soul, my life, my all

math equation. spelling test, hello 3rd grade

From snow to sun. Thank you pure Michigan.
Which I believe that people in Florida must be permanently happy. They have no excuse, they get to see the sun most days. Agreed puts a little extra pep in your step!? !?

So…
Sun equals happy
Run equals happy

So…
morning run with the sun makes me double happy.
Which makes me think of a great movie quote from ms elle woods [legally blonde]: I just don't think that Brooke could've done this. Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don't shoot their husbands, they just don't.

Which: Is it spelled blond or blonde? Both are correct, I looked it up in the dictionary…both have the same definition. Confused or just dumb blond[e]

not your typical hash brown

because they are oh oh your magic bars!
graham cracker crust
chocolate chips
coconut layered
goodness!

My photo of the hash browns:

The photo from my baking addiction magic bars:

Side Note: Yesterday was April 18. I woke up to snow. makes me want to be a bear, that way it would be acceptable for me to eat my weight in chocolate and sleep through the cold. Now if only this was acceptable!
