the whole world

went on Spring Break 2016 to Chicago

ok...drama.  

there were a lot of people but it didnt stop us!

we had a great time

Friday we went to Oakbrook and Ikea

found a little table for Arie, which I was looking for

and even swam in the hotel pool!

Ready to hit the road

Saturday morning

woke up 'early' chicago time

so a little cartoons will do

then off to breakfast with friends

Then off to Shedds

Then the Planetarium 

which was so fun to play on the door while papa waited in another line 

loved this play place

one of his favorite spots of the trip

[and most stairs at any of the places we went...nothing like traveling to chicago for a good flight of stairs ;-) haha]

extra happy bc I let him play in the water

The off to the Art Institute 

after a long couple of days 

he napped for all but a 1/2 hour on the ride home

thank you buddy for that!

we had so much fun!
we will be back Chicago!

Chilling out

I just keep thinking of Mr. Fresh Prince theme song each night Aries settles for bed

Snugs right in hums and chats until he settles!

elementary school....expect for weddings

well maybe not, but sure felt like that was the last time I was at the Grand Rapids Museum

we changed that last weekend

Arie, papa and Marcia explored that museum on Saturday afternoon

Arie really liked walking around

the steps and seeing all the stuff

we had lots of fun!

this was the only thing he was so so about

which I was surprised...he liked it if I was holding him :)

since being home from Florida we have explored the parks around our house and grammy and grandpas

we my parents out of town last week

we delayed our celebration to today!

we had family, food and an egg hunt!

we had a great afternoon with family!

Easter 2016

We started out with a great Church service and greeting duties

Then it was off to Aunt Carols house

she was so kind to invite us over

both of our parents were still out of town...so we were happy to be taken in ;-)

She had an Easter Egg hunt

and even spoiled Arie with his own Easter basket!

Then back home for a low key night!

We such a nice Easter!
