Florida....

part 1 of LOTS of pictures :)

This year Arie and I were able to spend about two and half weeks in Florida

with Jason and the Paters and then with my parents and Jeff and Betsy

J went home after a week, so thankful for my parents taking me and Arie in for the rest of the trip!

We had a great time!

Arie LOVED being outside and being able to go in the pool. beach and parks

So thankful for the time away

Here is the week with papa around

First day at the pool

then we hit the beach

they had a playset.  Arie loved the slide!

Anne got down and went over to Arie and was hugging him

then he hugged her and gave her a kiss

they were so silly together

we had a great week together!

we had to go pick up something from jeff so we got to play a little

he loves spending time with his uncle Jeff

today we went hopping to the ihop 

for national pancake day

there was a little wait [with all the high school kids...ha]

so we waited outside in the 70 degree weather!!!

soooo excited!

great lunch date!

then it was back to working it

helping mama wash her car again

aka playing in the water and today found the mud

hands and in his mouth ahhh wont be the last time

Arie likes working it and eating! 

so win win day!

butterfly time

this past weekend Arie and I went to the gardens with Grandma Marcia

we had a great time

there were so many butterflies 

Arie liked walking around

and maybe seeing the butterflies :) 

taking it all in

watching at the feeding station

pointing and saying that

but I think at the tree :) 

had to sit in the butterfly chair on the way out

so mama got a little me time

I feel like I have a love hate relationship with a pedicure

the polish choices

the finished results

the hate

the fact it tickles

anyway made it through

and the the feet are ready for Florida!

six of the eight days of papa being gone

but whos counting ;-)

well thanks to my sister in law

she invited us over monday, wednesday and friday and for dinner!

so we played

Arie loves playing with his cousins and all their new toys

slept like a rock!

for me too...I learned how to turn the lock on :)

then it was back to his cousins house

but we snuggled to sleep finally 

and all was good the next morning

before we headed off to dinner with grandma and grandpa pater at Arnies!

and again...he loves playing with all the pillows on the couch

and the next morning. new couch. new giggles

now his goal is to climb in this on his own

but cant seem to get the second foot in
