feeling very

zen yesterday afternoon at the Meijer Gardens :)

This week Grandma and Grandpa took their two grandsons to the Gardens
and I got to join
we had a lot of fun walking around and playing and checking out the new Japaneses Gardens
it was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun

papas day

was spent it in Traverse City with my parents and Js parents

We had a blast

We had some time on the beach, downtown, food, fun, walks and relaxing

so thankful for J and being able to celebrate him on his first fathers day

Love seeing how much Arie loves his papa and what a great papa he is!

also so thankful for my dad the douger and what a great guy he is to me and Arie and J!

and so nice to be able to celebrate with my father in law also

we headed up with them on Thursday and came home Monday!

Arie celebrated his 5th month birthday

and the time keeps flying by

what happened this month...

1. had his first ear infection and temp to 104 :( 

2. he continues to roll over and loves to play on his tummy and now also enjoys sleeping on his tummy and even taking naps on his tummy!  hooray

3. he likes to wiggle and move and play in his jumper or stand up being held [we are working on sitting up...but not there yet]

4. he is eating more of the rice cereal and actually eating it.  

5. he also likes to ride in the carrier facing out

WELL let me tell you what

NOT anymore!

Arie and I planted these beautiful purple flowers

for once...for once i repeat...bc I never ever keep plants alive

but this time around I did

they were growing and growing and so pretty

and I actually watered them and took care of them

get the point.... I had a flourishing plants on the front porch

UNTIL THIS MORNING

when I pulled out the drive and went to admire my plants 

and WHAT

gone ALL GONE!

not one flower left and barely even the roots

Little deer WE ARE NO LONGER FRIENDS

you are NO LONGER CUTE

you are no longer welcome in our yard

I will scare you away when I see you

Aries for baseball game!

I got invited to my works summer party to the whitecaps!

I felt pretty honored to join them :) and LOVED catching up with everyone

plus it was a beautiful night for baseball

too bad I didnt even watch one minute of the game haha
