Turkey day-Thanksgiving

We spent the morning with Jason's family for lunch

and the evening with my Family for dinner

It was a really nice day. 

So MANY things to be thankful for this year.

God has truly blessed me and I am very thankful for that!

Very thankful for my family!

Thankful to watch my mom and dad try to put up the tree. ha!  if only I had recording of them bickering back and forth :) 

BLACK FRIDAY came early this year!

11pm after everyone left.  headed out to Kohl's with my madre.  waited in line and shopped until 2:30 went to bed

Woke up at 7:30 and shopped until I went to work at 11:30 and then after worked shopped some more!

We hit a ton of deals and made a dent in some of the Christmas shopping!

Let the holidays begin!

Time to officially listen to Christmas music all-the-time!

Thanksgiving is in two days.  crazy crazy crazy we are already there

I am on dessert duty!  YES my favorite

So I researched the usual blogs and newest pinterest and decided on

one: carrot cake trifle

Two: Eclair

Three: Pumpkin Bars

Preparation:

first stop Meijers, later to avoid the crazies

avoided most, accept that couple that tended to be by everything I needed and they always had no clue what they were looking for or what they needed

Second stop my kitchen, got all the goods out

Three blocks of cream cheese

at least 6 eggs

2 sticks of butter

and sugar all kinds and lots of it!

and healthy carrots [shredded]

 the recipes and pans ready to fly

TOMORROW is the big cooking day [in a limited amount of time]

Bakeralla will have to be diet coke infused and ready to go!

Double batch of cream cheese frosting here we come :)
